9th Lancers – 1912 – Presentation Military Cane

9th-lancers-presentation-cane-3

A unique and interesting 9th Lancers – 1912 – Presentation Military Cane

This is a pre-WW1 presentation horn-handled cane to a soldier in the 9th Lancers.  The solid silver collar reads – “To Jack Fraser From His Pals in Canterbury Feby 1912”.  The horn handle has an attractive curved and moulded grip and the shaft is made from bamboo.  Have not researched the soldier so would make an interesting project as I assume that he was involved in the First World War.

Condition of the Cane

In good overall condition with some wear to the silver collar.

Specifications of the Cane

Length of the cane is 32 inches.
