Rare variation c.WW1 1908 Pattern Indian Cavalry Trooper’s Sword

Of a type issued to native Indian cavalry troopers in the British Army. Have not seen this type before and it may be a prototype/special order. With chequered hardwood grip and steel bowl guard. Unmarked blade and hilt. Complete with original leather and steel mounted scabbard.

Condition of the Sword

In excellent condition with good age toning to hilt – blade retaining most original polish.  Crease to scabbard leather.

Specifications of the Sword

Blade length is 35 inches (41 inches overall).
