Good British late-19th Century Indian Cavalry Trooper’s Sword

An excellent British late-19th Century Indian Cavalry Trooper’s Sword of a type issued by the British Army to native Indian cavalry troopers.  This sword is of large proportions and has a steel, three-bar hilt and grooved, wooden grip.  The plain and wide, slightly curved blade is marked with maker’s initials and royal crown, lettering, to each side of the blade forte.  Comes complete with a heavy leather, side stitched scabbard with iron mounts.

In good overall condition with appropriate service wear.

Blade length is 29 inches (34 inches overall).
