British WW1 Scottish Trench Art Jug Pitcher – with Scottish regimental badges

scottish-ww1-trench-lamp-1

A unique and fine example of British WW1 Trench Art

No doubt made by a Scottish soldier serving in a Scottish regiment – made from a French shell case (dated 1913) so probably early war period.  This appears to have been made into a jug/pitcher.  The lamp is covered with contemporary white metal badges of the Seaforth Highlanders, Highland Light Infantry and the Gordon Highlanders.  Excellent quality badges and valuable on their own.

Condition of the Lamp

In excellent condition – no damage or repairs.

Specifications of the Lamp

Height is 5.5 inches.
