The knife has a good, clear and crisp silver hallmarked blade to Sheffield 1897. During the 19th Century, Sheffield, England was the centre of blade making and produced huge quantities of knives edged cutlery that was sold throughout the world. The city gained a reputation for high quality and innovation in blade making. The silver fruit knife is in very good condition for its age. Overall length with blade extended is 4.5 inches.
