A very well made Silver Mounted Knife Dirk with Damascus Blade. A good example of a solid silver mounted dirk dagger with heavy silver hilt mounts and a hardwood, faceted grip. The style of the dirk is very much in a Napoleonic style but this is probably a later 20th Century piece in emulation of these earlier knives. The blade is decorated with an attractive Damascus pattern to its full length. Great balance and weight when held in the hand.Blade length is 6 inches (10 inches overall).
